In Calabria (bella regione del Sud Italia) con i Gen3 abbiamo appena vissuto una bellissima Mariapoli, tenutasi dal 30 aprile al 3 maggio, in un luogo stupendo di montagna: Gambarie d’Aspromonte.
Una Mariapoli piuttosto originale: già in fase di “progettazione” si è voluto dare grande spazio alle idee dei Gen2 e anche dei Gen3, che hanno espresso il desiderio di una Mariapoli variegata, con tanti appuntamenti diversi per favorire i rapporti fra tutti.
Nella prima metà della mattinata i circa sessanta ragazzi “grandi” (14-18 anni) erano in sala insieme agli adulti, per partecipare alla parte più “spirituale” con le relative esperienze; nella seconda parte abbiamo pensato un momento solo per ragazzi per trattare temi specifici, proposti dai Gen3 stessi (facebook, eutanasia, televisione); al pomeriggio tutti i mariapoliti si sono iscritti agli “Spazi di interesse”: lo Sport (ovviamente il più gettonato dai ragazzi), il Coro Parlato, la Legalità, l’Economia, le Attività Manuali, il Teatro… Alla sera infine attività più “ricreative”, anch’esse in contemporanea, tra cui, apprezzatissimo, il Pub organizzato dai Gen2.
I Gen3 sono stati realmente protagonisti, sia nella preparazione, sia nell’esecuzione della Mariapoli: il primo giorno Vincenzo ha raccontato qualcosa della sua prima Mariapoli (nel 2006); il secondo giorno (tema: Gesù in Mezzo e l’Unità) c’è stata una interessante “intervista” ai sei Gen3 che compongono l’unità di Cosenza; il terzo giorno (tema: Gesù Abbandonato) Cesare ha raccontato la propria esperienza a tale proposito. Senza dimenticare i gemelli Stefano e Emanuele coinvolti nella Band della Mariapoli (batteria e chitarra) e l’altro Stefano che ha presentato (insieme a una Gen3) a tutti i mariapoliti la Parola di Vita del secondo giorno.
Ma i Gen3 si sono espressi se possibile ancora più pienamente nei momenti riservati ai ragazzi, gestendoli in prima persona, superando alla grande le imperfezioni della preparazione (ad esempio le canzoni sono state letteralmente improvvisate) e quindi, con le Gen3, hanno trascinato ed entusiasmato tutti i ragazzi, creando quel clima speciale in cui gli “esperti” (una Gen2 laureata in Ingegneria, una volontaria medico di malati terminali, un impegnato di famiglie professore di elettrotecnica) hanno potuto costruire bellissimi momenti di dialogo sulle tematiche loro affidate.
E anche gli altri aspetti della Mariapoli, dallo sport al Pub serale, sono stati coinvolgenti e appassionanti!
Adesso tutti i nuovi, che hanno lasciato impressioni scritte davvero belle, vogliono ritrovarsi con noi al più presto: ci vedremo quindi il 7 giugno per un Meeting Sportivo a Vibo Valentia!
In Calabria (a nice region in Southern Italy) we have just attended with Gen3 a beautiful Mariapoli; it was from April 30 to May 3, in a mountain place: Gambarie d'Aspromonte.
A very original Mariapoli: already in the planning, we have wanted to give big space to the ideas of Gen2 and Gen3, who had expressed their desire for a Mariapoli “variegated”, with many different events able to build strong relationship between everyone.
In the first half of the morning, about sixty teenagers (14-18 years old) were in the main room with the adults to attend the more "spiritual" moment, also with experiences; in the second half, we thought discussing specific issues, proposed by Gen3, only for them (facebook, euthanasia, television); in the afternoon all Mariapoli’s people chose their "Spaces of Interest”: Sport (obviously the most popular for teenagers), the Speech Choir, Legality, Economy, Manual Arts, Theatre ... finally the evenings were more "recreational" with concurrent activities, including the appreciated Pub organized by Gen2.
Gen3 have been really “actors”, both in the planning and in the development of Mariapoli: on the first day Vincenzo told something of his first Mariapoli (in 2006); on the second day (theme: Jesus in the midst and Unity) six Gen3 of the unity in Cosenza were interviewed; on the third day (theme: Jesus Forsaken) Cesare told his experience about G.A. Without forgetting the twins Stefano and Emanuele, involved in the Mariapoli’s Band (drums and guitar) and another Stefano who presented (with a Gen3 girl) the Word of Life on the second day.
But Gen3 have been more “in donation” when they were only with the teenagers: they have managed the program in the front line, overcoming the flaws of the planning (for example the songs were improvised) and then, with Gen3 girls, they have aroused all the group, creating that special atmosphere where "experts" (a Gen2 - computer engineer; a Volunteer - doctor for terminally ill people; a electrical engineering teacher) have been able to build intense moments of dialogue.
And also the other aspects of Mariapoli, from Sport to the Pub, have been involving and exciting!
Now all the new ones (who have delivered really beautiful written impressions) want to meet us as soon as possible: we'll see them on June 7 for a Meeting in Vibo Valentia!
